This two-day tour will show you an amazing Shanghai by visiting classic sights of the Bund, Nanjng Road, Yuyuan Garden, Chenghuang Miao bazaars, etc. Delight in this city that perfectly combines rich Chinese culture and flourishing metropolis together.

Day1 Arrive in Shanghai

You will be picked up according to your flight schedule and transferred to the hotel by your friendly local guide.

Day2 Departure from Shanghai

Refreshed in the morning and start your tour of Shanghai to visit Shanghai Museum, a massive museum housing over 140,000 pieces of artifacts, displaying the history and cultural scene of Shanghai. Walk through the exhibition halls while listening to your guide about stories behind every relic you see in the glass cases will enhance your understanding of Chinese history.

Afterwards take a walk at The Bund, the most prestigious landmark and best-preserved demonstration to the glamour of old Shanghai, and Nanjing Road, the busiest shopping area in this metropolis or even across the whole China. The Huangpu River running peacefully next to you with numerous skyscrapers and exotic old buildings around is the typical view of the bund.

Then continue your exploration by paying a visit to Yuyuan Garden, where you can marvel at the beautiful view of the traditional Chinese garden and appreciate the constructional style in the yards, corridors and different halls. And next, enjoy a local experience by strolling around the nearby Chenghuang Miao bazaars, where you can try to act like locals to bargain a little with the shop owners to get some fun and cute local crafts.

Drive to New Spot (XinTianDi) , a new popular business area in Shanghai where you will be able to see the old traditional Shanghai buildings with modern insides. Wandering through this area, you will feel you get back to old Shanghai in 1920s. Yet walking into each building will drag you back in this modern new world.

After your tour concludes, take a short ride to the airport for your next destination.

Note: Shanghai Museum is closed to public on Mondays, then Shanghai History Museum will be arranged on the day instead.

Cancellation Policy for Day Tours

Any cancellation by you should be initiated by email to tours@chinatours.com.
All cancellations will be subject to the following cancellation charges from the date the written cancellation is received:

• More than 7 days prior to departure date: no penalty will be deducted.

• 4-7 days prior to departure date: deduct 50% of the full payment.

• No more than 3 days prior to departure date: deduct 100% of the full payment.

• While the tour is in progress, any programs missed because of individual behaviors such as early departure, late arrival or attractions cancellation cannot be refunded.
