Firstly we would all like to thank Angela Zhao who has been our contact throughout from my initial enquiry to join one of your China Tours for my wife and I which quickly escalated to a group tour once the news spread that we were planning to visit China along with the great value tours which were available through ChinaTours with hard to beat savings for a similar tour if booked through another company, finally 8 more of our friends booked to join us on the "Join in Tour", visiting Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Li River Cruise, Yangshuo, Chongqing, Yangtze River Cruise and Shanghai. The Bullet Train, Beijing to Xian was a welcome change to the itinerary and a great idea.

Our International Flights were booked independently direct with Swiss Air for 4 passengers and the remaining group flew with Cathay Pacific as they wanted a 3 night stay/optional tour to Hong Kong with Angela taking care of the land arrangements.

Angela worked extremely hard over many months arranging everything for our group, answering all our many Emails quickly and efficiently paying attention to detail, as a results we all had a wonderful holiday, we will always remember the happy times meeting your friendly and inquisitive people plus exploring your fascinating country...thank you.

This tour went beyond our expectations along with your great guides who were very knowledgeable, the choice of hotels were outstanding as were the lovely restaurants serving some great Chinese and plentiful tasty food.

A. Beijing, just a small niggle our group arriving from Hong Kong felt that the mini bus was rather small to accommodate 6 people plus suitcases, it was a bit of a squeeze.

B. We enjoyed tasting a big range of different Chinese food on our tour, however may I suggest that you consider introducing at least one Western meal into your tour meal plans, "variety is the spice of life".

C. The Li River tour was excellent along with a visit to a local family after that further along the road we visited a paddy field to see rice being grown and then went on to a lovely spot overlooking possible the Li River where two person rafts were available to hire with a boat man, this is such a beautiful area and the 1 hour river raft tour should be considered to be included in this tour or at least as an optional tour on the day.

The President No.7. We were all allocated cabins at the rear of the vessel which were quiet noisy from the engine room below deck, may we suggest that China Tours negotiate reserving cabins either mid ship or forward.

Also the swimming pool and spa were under used, firstly the pool was not free to use also on each occasion the ship docked and was refuelled which resulted that this deck smelled of diesel fumes.
