We were very pleased with the service we received. We were appreciative of Ms Laura in Beijing because we did not want to stop at the jade factory because it would take time away from the Great Wall. We really enjoyed Ms. Laura in Beijing and Chris in Xi’an. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and have a good time. Ms. Laura in Beijing and Nick in Guilin gave us suggestions for extra things to do in the evening which were very welcome. All of the guides were very courteous. The car in Beijing did not have a seat belt on the passenger side otherwise all vehicles were very comfortable and clean. All drivers were very courteous. Our driver in Xi’an was excellent has he had to drive over some very rough roads to get to Foping. All meals were very good. The best was the Peking duck in Beijing and the dumpling banquet in Xi’an. The lunch in the local home in Beijing was also a very good experience. The hotels were excellent. The only exception was the hotel in Foping which was very rough. The lobby was very nice, but the room itself was not. Our guide, Chris, knew this and prepared us for it. He also made sure we had something for breakfast during the stay in Foping. We had plenty of water daily and it was appreciated. We were overall very pleased with the value we received for our tour through China.
