We had an 8 day trip in organized by China Tours to Being, Xian and Zhangjiajie. There was a different tourguide in every city so we were always with a local! They even made sure we were on the correct seat of the train to the next place. Great memories

China trip dated August 27, – September 16, 2024, seven cities in 3 weeks
China Tours did an excellent job of accommodating and coordinating the necessary paperwork, tickets, guides, setting up WeChat for direct communications such that I could communicate with my guides prior to my arrival, etc. for me to enjoy a relaxing adventure filled with new information.
Regarding the guides, each one is very special, they are open to questions. Willing to adjust schedules, share personal information that we can compare to my western experience. Have a sense of humor about them, explain changes that need to be made, and each shares a perspective of China and its 5,000-year-old history and how it is a nation of tribes that work together resulting amazing functional society with the most sophisticated infrastructure the world has ever seen. China can be proud of each guide; each is an asset for changing the wests perspective and embracing all that China is doing to improve the world.
I congratulate each of you for your dedication and work ethic to make my experience one I will always appreciate.
Memorable 2 weeks in China.
We fully enjoyed the tour. Beautiful landscapes and comfortable hotels met our expectations. All the tour guides are first rate, many times they went above and beyond our expectations.
Private Solo 35 day Tour of China from Beijing to Shanghai Stopping in Sites – Some Well-Known and Many Rare Places
This 35 day private tour through China was set up by Martha Fu and her team. The trip was more than unbelievably fantastic and if I could rate it a 10 I would! I had some very specific places I wanted to see that were the typical tourist attractions, but several that I read about that were off the tourist radar and amazing to go to. Martha spent about a year with me to customize every detail of this trip, which I kept adding and deleting. Originally it was set for 58 days so I ended up having to split it in two trips. In fact, I have already setup Part 2 for 2020 to finish what I have started.
Martha was incredible! I have traveled the world and this trip was tops!!! Martha and I discussed the best time to go and obviously avoiding the 70th Anniversary of the Republic of China Holiday week was a great idea due to the crowds, but yet, coming in at the end of this holiday, I was still able to see lots of celebratory flower displays everywhere, which was amazing. Martha helped me with everything so that this trip was smooth and memorable. She responded to my emails within 24 hours and if she was not available Lori or another teammate stepped in to answer all of my questions. This company is unbelievable!
Travelling solo was a concern, but not with this tour company. I felt very safe at all times. Every city I went to – from arriving by train or plane, I was met with an English speaking tour guide and a driver. All my guides (10 in total) spoke English well and were very attentive to my needs.

13 day China highlights tour
We had an incredible time with China Tours. The guides were incredibly helpful and spoke great English, they also helped out in places where English was well spoken, which was a huge help! Couldn’t have picked a better company to help us travel around China safely and see all the essential sites.

Never written a review before but thought China Tours deserve it.
We had a 25 day trip around China. It was absolutely brilliantly managed by John and his team. Quick responds to emails, helpful advise and hints, friendly and patient. From getting the visa to the farewell at Shanghai it was conducted with efficiency punctuality and pride.
It’s been a real fine holiday to a fascinating country.

An amazing 3 week holiday
China Tours organised a fantastic 3 week tour for me and my partner. We were very clear about what we wanted to see and visit and even suggested certain hotels ourselves. But the organisation was both efficient and flexible, incorporating all our ideas. We had nine different guides and drivers to cover all our different destinations, and all were good and refreshingly open. There was just a hiccup at the outset – we were taken to the wrong hotel in Beijing! But China Tours responded straight away to the problem and made it right.
Above and Beyond Expectations
I was finishing my first post-grad job teaching English in Japan, and ChinaTours helped me set up an amazing and incredibly affordable trip highlighting Beijing-Xi’an-Zhangjiajie-Shanghai. Everything was expertly organized and smooth. Would certainly recommend using ChinaTours to anyone I know wanting to travel China, and will likely use their services again myself!
Our China Vacation
We booked a 12 day trip to China with China Tours. We visited Beijing, Xi’an, Zhangjiajie And Shanghai. It was a small group tour, which we really liked.
We had a different guide in each city, Michael in Beijing, Helen in Xi’an, Ella in Zhangjiajie and John in Shanghai. All of them were really knowledgable and friendly.
They had great recommendations for restaurants and shows and they also helped
us to check in at the airports and train station.
We also want to say thank you to Ms. Wynn. She helped me with all my questions and concerns before the trip.
We certainly recommend China Tour. We had a wonderful time on our trip.
Ten Days Essence of China and Magical Avatar Mountain Tour, June 18-27, 2019
The first comment I would like to make is regarding the misnomer that our travel party was a group of “customers” or were treated as “customers.” Our group consisted of an Aussie, a Kiwi-born Aussie, two generations of family from the Chinese enclave on Mauritius, an Indian Ocean island off the coast of Africa, a Hong Kong Mom, three young adult ABCs (American-Born Chinese) and a Sicilian-Cuban American Dad. From the moment we set foot on Chinese soil, we were greeted warmly by China Tours and were treated to kind hospitality by all. Our Guide in Beijing, Michael, has a knack and a talent for bringing “strangers” together and weaving them into a tapestry and creating the fabric of a strong family group. He accomplishes this through our communal meals and through our shared experiences together. We were then whisked off by bullet train to Xi’an, where we warmly greeted at Xi-an Station by Helen. In the days to follow, her knowledge of Chinese history and culture mesmerized us all. We were so impressed by her brilliance, her intelligence, and her grace and charm. We then proceeded on to the natural beauty of Zhangjiajie National Park, where “Super” Sarah guided us for the next two days. She hikes like the best, a truly seasoned veteran. Yet, she delicately held on to each one of us as we braved Heaven’s Gate and Tianjin Mountain in the fog and during a brief rain storm. Our trip was capped off by a whirlwind tour of Shanghai with Karl the “Chinese Swede” as the leader of our pack. What a journey these ten days were.
