China Tours

Never written a review before but thought China Tours deserve it.
We had a 25 day trip around China. It was absolutely brilliantly managed by John and his team. Quick responds to emails, helpful advise and hints, friendly and patient. From getting the visa to the farewell at Shanghai it was conducted with efficiency punctuality and pride.
It’s been a real fine holiday to a fascinating country.

Highly recommend China Tours and China as a destination

An amazing 3 week holiday

China Tours organised a fantastic 3 week tour for me and my partner. We were very clear about what we wanted to see and visit and even suggested certain hotels ourselves. But the organisation was both efficient and flexible, incorporating all our ideas. We had nine different guides and drivers to cover all our different destinations, and all were good and refreshingly open. There was just a hiccup at the outset – we were taken to the wrong hotel in Beijing! But China Tours responded straight away to the problem and made it right.

Above and Beyond Expectations

I was finishing my first post-grad job teaching English in Japan, and ChinaTours helped me set up an amazing and incredibly affordable trip highlighting Beijing-Xi’an-Zhangjiajie-Shanghai. Everything was expertly organized and smooth. Would certainly recommend using ChinaTours to anyone I know wanting to travel China, and will likely use their services again myself!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 21 day private trip organised by China Tours.

We are very impressed with the level of service and professionalism provided. Lora in the Head Office who co-ordinated the trip was most patient, skillful and competent. She helped us tailor the tour to our exact requirements.

All the guides and the drivers were very proficient and experienced. We were especially impressed with Helen in Xi’an and Ms Chen in Chengdu. George in Beijing is a gentleman, Tenzin in Lhasa was very knowledgable and David in Shanghai the proud man of Shanghai.

Our China Vacation

We booked a 12 day trip to China with China Tours. We visited Beijing, Xi’an, Zhangjiajie And Shanghai. It was a small group tour, which we really liked.
We had a different guide in each city, Michael in Beijing, Helen in Xi’an, Ella in Zhangjiajie and John in Shanghai. All of them were really knowledgable and friendly.
They had great recommendations for restaurants and shows and they also helped
us to check in at the airports and train station.
We also want to say thank you to Ms. Wynn. She helped me with all my questions and concerns before the trip.
We certainly recommend China Tour. We had a wonderful time on our trip.

Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai

I highly recommend China Tours. I found them on line and after reading reviews, decided to book a tour for my husband and myself. Everything was perfectly planned, the tour guides were fun and knowledgable. If we travel to China again, i will book with this same company.

Trip of a lifetime with China Tours.com

we booked 12 nights with ChinaTours.com visiting Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu and Shanghai, they provide small group tours which suited us and allowed us to go at our own pace seeing the most important sights in each city, it also allowed us to have time to do a little sight seeing on our own, which was great, you feel so safe, the people in Chine are happy to meet you and glad to see you too are interested in their country, which is beautiful. If your thinking of going don’t wait, do it you wont regret it, its getting more popular every year. ChinaTours.com was a great choice and could’nt fault them, their Guides were fantastic and so friendly. We loved every minute of it..

Review of Andy, our private tour guide of a 3 day August trip in Beijing. The tour was arranged by China Tours.

We have just completed an exciting 2 week adventure in China which started in Beijing and ended in Shanghai. Our very first guide was Andy. He did the Beijing portion of our adventure. He was foremost a consummate professional and really set the tone for our trip. He was friendly, respectful, punctual and very knowledgeable about everything in Beijing, Chinese culture, history and philosophy, etc.He paid attention to all details and went out of his way to make sure we were getting the most of our trip. For example, our daughter who is an engineer wanted to see the CCTV Headquarters building, aka, Pair of Pants. He made sure we did. Our children needed Chinese cell phone chips. He made a phone call and next day we had them. My wife is blind and he understood that she also needed to touch objects when possible to get the most of experience. Andy was patient and allowed time and went out of his way for that to happen. We even stopped at a local Chinese restaurant he recommended where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. We cannot not say enough about Andy.
We will always remember our first trip to China with great fondness thanks in large part to Andy. We wish him and his family happiness, prosperity and good fortune.
