Your guide will greet you outside the baggage claim area at the Beijing Capital Airport with a welcoming sign and then take you to the pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day will be left on your own to explore this amazing city.

Begin your explorations in Beijing today by paying a visit first to the largest city square across the world, Tiananmen Square. The square is one of the most beloved sites among Chinese citizens, especially the flag raising and lowering ritual held here at dawn and dusk, draws in scores of spectators every day. Opposite to the square across the road is the magnificent Forbidden City, one of the most recognizable landmarks and cultural symbols of China as the former royal residence for five centuries. After your tour of the Forbidden City you will continue your day with a visit to Summer Palace, the massive garden and summer resort for royal members only during the imperial times. (B)

Beijing

The tour today starts with the remarkable Temple of Heaven, where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties performed ceremonies and rituals to pray for good harvest and blessing on the country. Afterwards, you will be taken to the Mutianyu Great Wall, a comparatively less tourist-trodden part of the 1,400-year-old fortification system. An easy, comfortable round trip cable car transfer over the picturesque scenery is included while certain amount of time would be given for you to climb the wall. Our touring concludes with a stopover at the Bird's Nest and Water Cube on your way back to hotel. (B)

Enjoy your free time until be transferred to railway station for the soft-sleeper train towards Datong. Upon arrival in Datong, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your accommodation. (B)

Explore Datong which boasts numerous renowned attractions. First of all, head for the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Yungang Grottoes, the largest and most well-preserved group of grottoes extant in China now, comprising of over 200 caverns, housing more than 50,000 Buddha Statues. After that, drive back to downtown Datong to admire the Nine-Dragon Screen, which was erected in front of the mansion of the 13th son of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding father of Ming Dynasty, around the year of 1392, and the nearby Shanhua Monastery, a grand Buddhist temple built during the Tang Dynasty. Afterwards you will be transferred to your hotel. (B)

Datong-Pingyao

Head out for a ride towards Pingyao in the morning. On the way there, pay a visit to the miraculous Hanging Temple on Mount Hengshan, which is hailed as one of the most spectacular and mysterious architectural miracle on the history; and the imposing Wooden Pagoda in Ying County, the tallest and oldest wooden pagoda extant in China at present. Upon arrival at the hotel in Pingyao the rest of the day will be free for you to relax and enjoy the area. (B)

Pingyao

Your whole day's sightseeing in Pingyao Ancient Town covers highlights such as Rishengchang Draft Bank, a type of banking institution invented back in the early 19th century, Ancient City Wall, one of the four most well-preserved and prestigious city walls across China, dating back to 1370 AD, and Ming and Qing Street, also known as Southern Street, the most bustling commercial centre of Pingyao ever since 1856 AD. Afterwards your guide will transfer you back to your hotel. (B)

Pingyao-Xian

In the morning, we'll visit Qiao Family Compound which fully showcases the unique architectural style of the residence in North China during the Qing Dynasty, and the 1,400-year-old Shuanglin Monastery. After that, drive to the railway station to catch an express train bound for Xian. Upon arrival in Xian your guide will transfer you to your hotel for free time this evening. (B)

The highlight of the tour today lies in the world-renowned Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. It is reputed as the largest underground military base in the world. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to explore the ancient Xian City Wall, the largest and best-preserved wall extant in China now, running 13.75km, enclosing the old capital. In the middle of the old block of Xian stands the Great Mosque, the oldest and biggest Islamic mosque in the country, determined to have been built in mid-7th century. Around the mosque is the Muslim Street that is bustling every day with loads of the most authentic fine eateries and souvenirs shops. Also we would stop at the nearby Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square for some great photo opportunities. (B)

Xian

After breakfast at the hotel, the tour guide will take you to the Xian Museum, a museum housing 130,000 pieces of archeological items, located right at the foot of the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the two most significant Buddhist pagodas in Xian, which was built around early 8th century.The rest of the day will be your free time to explore the city on your own. Xian - Lhasa

Today you will be transferred to Xian Airport for your flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival, you would be met by your tour guide and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax and adapt to the unusual environment and high altitude. (B)

Day 12

Lhasa

Today's agenda include the imposing Potala Palace, the sacred, mysterious palace dating back to 7th century and the spiritual centre of Tibetan people thereafter. Afterwards, pay a visit to the Jokhang Temple, the most divine and respected Buddhist temple among locals and pilgrims, with a history of over 1,300 years. And the Barkhor Street encircling the temple, is the most bustling commercial area in downtown Lhasa and draws in hundreds of pilgrims to perform rituals on it every day. At last, wrap up the day by a visit to the Lhasa Nunnery. (B)

Today's excursion covers the overwhelming summer resort of Dalai Lama of several generations, the Norbulingka. In the afternoon, the notable Sera Monastery, which is most famed for the daily Lama Scripture debate, is on the schedule. (B)

Lhasa-Chengdu

This morning you will be transferred to Lhasa Airport for your flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival in Chengdu your guide will meet you in the arrivals hall and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day will be opened to your own agenda. (B)

Day 15

Chengdu

This morning, you'll visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and have a close-enough encounters with the adorable national treasure. Then drive back to downtown Chengdu to take a relaxing stroll at Jinli Street where got loads of the most authentic local snacks and fine crafts. Then you'll have a chance to enjoy some leisure time in Wangjiang Pavilion Park by strolling among the rare bamboo groves and drinking a cup of tea there.(B)

Chengdu-Chongqing

Enjoy your free time before the ride to the railway station for the bullet train to Chongqing. Your Chongqing guide will meet you at the station and bring you to the Ciqikou Old Town, which is an old town dating back to the turn between 10th and 11th century. Afterwards, embark the luxurious Yangtze River cruise ship which will weigh anchor at 9:00 PM. There is a necessary Safety, Orientation & River Briefing presentation waiting for you. (B)

Day 17

Yangtze River

Sail along the Yangtze River today and go ashore for an excursion to Fengdu Ghost City or Shibaozhai, depending on the water level condition or different cruises. The exciting Captain's Welcome Party will be held in the evening. Just sit back and enjoy the Chinese folk dancing and music performance, and be a part in it.(B+L+D)

Scenic Spots: Fengdu Ghost City is dubbed as the final resting place for all souls in Chinese mythologies, hence the series of temples and grotesque images ubiquitously found in town. Shibaozhai is a 56m or so tower leaning against the Yuyin Hill. The tower and the land around it were specially isolated and encircled by a moat after the Three Gorges Dam project in 2003, rendering it a gargantuan bonsai besides the Yangtze.

Yangtze River

Continue sailing pass the jaw-dropping view of the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Disembark for an excursion to the Small Three Gorges, also known as Lesser Three Gorges, consisting of Longmen, Bawu and Dicui Gorges. Or take an excursion to Badong and experience a small wooden boat trip on the magnificent Shennong Stream. Return to the ship and enter the western section of the Xiling Gorge. (B+L+D)

Day 19

Yichang - Shanghai

After breakfast, disembark at Maoping Pier of Yichang, then you will take a bus to join the shore excursion to the grandest hydroelectric project in the world, the Three Gorges Dam. Indulge yourself with a tour around the colossal dam and perhaps the phenomenal scene of millions of tons of water being discharged if it happens to be rain season. After the tour in late morning, the cruise will provide a shuttle bus transfer you to Yichang Three Gorges Tourism Center, you will be met by your guide there. Then be transferred to the airport for your flight towards Shanghai. Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up at Shanghai airport and transfer to the hotel. (B)

Note: Optional excursion is provided, disembark at Maoping Pier then board sightseeing-ferry sailing through TGP Ship's elevator to enjoy the tour of the Three Gorges Dam, which should be paid on board if you'd like to join in.

Shanghai

This morning commence your tour of Shanghai with a visit to the Shanghai Museum, a massive museum housing over 140,000 pieces of artifacts, displaying the history and cultural scene of Shanghai.Later you would take a walk at The Bund, the most prestigious landmark and best-preserved demonstration to the glamour of the old Shanghai, and Nanjing Road, the busiest shopping area in the metropolis or even across the whole China. Later, visit Yuyuan Garden, where you can marvel at the stunning view of the garden and have the most local experience by strolling around the nearby Chenghuang Miao bazaars, and New Spot(XinTianDi).(B)

Note: Shanghai Museum is closed to public on Mondays, then Shanghai History Museum will be arranged on the day instead.

Shanghai-Suzhou

Drive to Suzhou after breakfast at the hotel this morning. Upon arrival, visit the captivating Tiger Hill. Later, explore another World Heritage Site,Humble Administrator's Garden, one of the most renowned and spectacular gardens across China; and the Garden of Master of Nets. Afterwards your guide will transfer you to your hotel and the rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the town. (B)

Suzhou-Hangzhou

Explore Tongli where you can find the graceful ancient bridges, the winding river, the residences in traditional Chinese style as well as the classic Tuisi Garden, etc. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the railway station for your express train to Hangzhou. Upon arrival in Hangzhou your guide will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to your hotel. (B)

Today's tour starts from the UNESCO World Heritage Site West Lake by boat to the amazing Red Carp Pond, and the Lingyin Temple standing on the western corner of the lake, which dates back to the year of 326 AD. Opposite to the temple is the magnificent Feilai Peak, over which more than 300 Buddha statues housed inside grottoes and caverns are scattered. After today's touring you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival in Guilin you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. (B)

Guilin-Yangshuo-Guilin

This morning your guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to Mopanshan Pier to embark on your impressive cruise on Li River towards Yangshuo. After arrival, take your time to admire the gorgeous country view of Yangshuo. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your Guilin Hotel. (B+L)

Guilin- Hong Kong

Today visit the Reed Flute Cave, a huge cave featuring a walk of about 500 meters, lined up by countless grotesque yet thrilling stalactite formations, and the Elephant Trunk Hill, the most representative and favorable landmark of the city of Guilin, which is apparently a hill bears quite some resemblance to an elephant standing in the water. Afterwards drive to the airport to catch the flight heading Hong Kong. When you reach Hong Kong, you would need to arrange your own way to the hotel pre-booked for you. (B)

Hong Kong

The whole day will be your free time to explore the world-renowned metropolis. You are recommended to take a half-day Hong Kong Island Tour which you can visit the lofty Victoria Peak, the inviting Repulse Bay, the impressive Aberdeen Fishing village and the dynamic Stanley Market. (B)

Day 17

Yangtze River

Sail along the Yangtze River today and go ashore for an excursion to Fengdu Ghost City or Shibaozhai, depending on the water level condition or different cruises. The exciting Captain's Welcome Party will be held in the evening. Just sit back and enjoy the Chinese folk dancing and music performance, and be a part in it.(B+L+D)

Scenic Spots: Fengdu Ghost City is dubbed as the final resting place for all souls in Chinese mythologies, hence the series of temples and grotesque images ubiquitously found in town. Shibaozhai is a 56m or so tower leaning against the Yuyin Hill. The tower and the land around it were specially isolated and encircled by a moat after the Three Gorges Dam project in 2003, rendering it a gargantuan bonsai besides the Yangtze.

Day 18

Yangtze River

Continue sailing pass the jaw-dropping view of the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Disembark for an excursion to the Small Three Gorges, also known as Lesser Three Gorges, consisting of Longmen, Bawu and Dicui Gorges. Or take an excursion to Badong and experience a small wooden boat trip on the magnificent Shennong Stream. Return to the ship and enter the western section of the Xiling Gorge. (B+L+D)

Day 19

Yichang - Shanghai

After breakfast, disembark at Maoping Pier of Yichang, then you will take a bus to join the shore excursion to the grandest hydroelectric project in the world, the Three Gorges Dam. Indulge yourself with a tour around the colossal dam and perhaps the phenomenal scene of millions of tons of water being discharged if it happens to be rain season. After the tour in late morning, the cruise will provide a shuttle bus transfer you to Yichang Three Gorges Tourism Center, you will be met by your guide there. Then be transferred to the airport for your flight towards Shanghai. Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up at Shanghai airport and transfer to the hotel. (B)

Note: Optional excursion is provided, disembark at Maoping Pier then board sightseeing-ferry sailing through TGP Ship's elevator to enjoy the tour of the Three Gorges Dam, which should be paid on board if you'd like to join in.

Day 20

Shanghai

This morning commence your tour of Shanghai with a visit to the Shanghai Museum, a massive museum housing over 140,000 pieces of artifacts, displaying the history and cultural scene of Shanghai.Later you would take a walk at The Bund, the most prestigious landmark and best-preserved demonstration to the glamour of the old Shanghai, and Nanjing Road, the busiest shopping area in the metropolis or even across the whole China. Later, visit Yuyuan Garden, where you can marvel at the stunning view of the garden and have the most local experience by strolling around the nearby Chenghuang Miao bazaars, and New Spot(XinTianDi).(B)

Note: Shanghai Museum is closed to public on Mondays, then Shanghai History Museum will be arranged on the day instead.

Day 21

Shanghai-Suzhou

Drive to Suzhou after breakfast at the hotel this morning. Upon arrival, visit the captivating Tiger Hill. Later, explore another World Heritage Site,Humble Administrator's Garden, one of the most renowned and spectacular gardens across China; and the Garden of Master of Nets. Afterwards your guide will transfer you to your hotel and the rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the town. (B)

Day 22

Suzhou-Hangzhou

Explore Tongli where you can find the graceful ancient bridges, the winding river, the residences in traditional Chinese style as well as the classic Tuisi Garden, etc. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the railway station for your express train to Hangzhou. Upon arrival in Hangzhou your guide will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to your hotel. (B)

Hangzhou-Guilin

Today's tour starts from the UNESCO World Heritage Site West Lake by boat to the amazing Red Carp Pond, and the Lingyin Temple standing on the western corner of the lake, which dates back to the year of 326 AD. Opposite to the temple is the magnificent Feilai Peak, over which more than 300 Buddha statues housed inside grottoes and caverns are scattered. After today's touring you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival in Guilin you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. (B)

Day 24

Guilin-Yangshuo-Guilin

This morning your guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to Mopanshan Pier to embark on your impressive cruise on Li River towards Yangshuo. After arrival, take your time to admire the gorgeous country view of Yangshuo. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your Guilin Hotel. (B+L)

Day 25

Guilin- Hong Kong

Today visit the Reed Flute Cave, a huge cave featuring a walk of about 500 meters, lined up by countless grotesque yet thrilling stalactite formations, and the Elephant Trunk Hill, the most representative and favorable landmark of the city of Guilin, which is apparently a hill bears quite some resemblance to an elephant standing in the water. Afterwards drive to the airport to catch the flight heading Hong Kong. When you reach Hong Kong, you would need to arrange your own way to the hotel pre-booked for you. (B)

Day 26

Hong Kong

The whole day will be your free time to explore the world-renowned metropolis. You are recommended to take a half-day Hong Kong Island Tour which you can visit the lofty Victoria Peak, the inviting Repulse Bay, the impressive Aberdeen Fishing village and the dynamic Stanley Market. (B)

Optional Activities (Price offered upon request) : 1. Morning Hong Kong Island Seat-in-coach Tour (Duration: 4 Hours). Lunch is not included. 2. One Day Macao Seat-in-coach Tour.

Day 27

Depart from Hong Kong
