They were all wonderful. A few times for each guide. We did enjoy the silk factory and the tea service (shopping stops) the most.

Kathy (Cathy?) took us to a nice park in Xi’an rather than a massage place, since we declined the massage. That
park was wonderful; we saw a nice slice of authentic China there in that park...kung-fu, some Peking-type opera, etc.
It was a nice spontaneous diversion.

Before we arrived in China, we were concerned about automobile accidents.
The first two drivers were very careful and slow.

Dumpling banquet in Xi’an was great. The restaurant where Wendy ate at our table (lunch) was fantastic...a great China experience!

Yes, feel free to post our comments! We had the trip of our lives! We are still processing the trip in our heads because we did
so much! I never thought it would be so wonderful. China is a country everyone should see. I am glad we got to see China in 2011 since China
is changing and modernizing so rapidly. We saw a bit of the old China when Wendy took us into a hutong in Beijing; what a wonderful
thing it was to meet and talk to a resident of traditional China! We will not forget that kind woman who welcomed us into her house. She told
us about her parents and her life there in the hutong. We arrived at her house by rickshaw! Can you get closer to authentic China than that?!

The Great Wall was something I had seen in books and television, now I can say that I have actually walked that wall with my wife.
It was very peaceful, secluded and high. The air was pure on the Great Wall.

answered us so quickly. Thank you for tailoring the trip to meet our needs. The other companies we e-mailed were slow to respond
and wanted to just push us in a bus with 25 other tourists. They did not answer our questions as well as your company.

Dear Ivy,

In general the guides were very good. the majority spoke good english. some easier to understand than others. our favourite guides were Coco and freddy who made a real effort and helped make our trip very enjoyable.we went to a souvenir shop per city, did not mind going as they were quite interesting and did not feel pressured to buy anything.

Drivers and vehicles were all great. no complaints

We found the lunches varied greatly from place to place. sometimes we were taken to posh hotels anbd lots of food ordered other times we were taken to very cheap local restaurants and not even given a drink other than the free green tea. The first restaurant in Beijing and the last one in Guilin were probably our favourites.

We had not realised that we were entitled to bottled water. received it sometimes but not every day.
