Dear Candy

Thank you for the wonderful tour!

The tour guide, Jack, was very nice and polite. He knew a lot about Qingdao and made sure I had a great time. He arranged one stop at a shop and it was because I asked him to.

The vehicle is very clean and comfortable. The lunch is also very delicious. And I was offered two bottles of mineral water, thanks you so much for it.

All in all, thanks for supplying so wonderful a tour to me!

Mr. Jeremy Connell's China Tour Review
Customer's information:

Itinerary: Beijing-Datong-Pingyao-Taiyuan-Xian-Lhasa-Chengdu-Chongqing-
Hello CT

We would like to provide some feedback on our recent 28 day trip in China in addition to the feedback forms we completed during the trip, and for the two guides who we didn’t get an opportunity to comment on.

Firstly we want to say that the trip was a wonderful experience and we were highly impressed by the meticulous organisation of itinerary, accommodation, transport, visits and events that ChinaTours.com arranged. We feel we received a fantastic overview of China and Tibet and were impressed by the friendliness, good humour and helpfulness of everyone with whom we came in contact.

The guides were all organised, competent, knowledgeable and friendly. Their command of English was always adequate and often much more than adequate.

Although we felt slightly tired of temples in the early part of the trip, this was very well balanced by the experiences in the remainder of the itinerary.

There are three suggestions of additions to itineraries which we didn’t think of before the trip but which we think would be enjoyable inclusions or options -

1. a chinese cooking class
2. a visit to a working farm - while we did cycle through farmland and got to meet an elderly woman farmer in the Guilin leg of the trip. There was, however, no opportunity observe the operation of farming practices and to ask questions.
3. In Tibet, we added a trip to lake yam-drok tso which was a great experience and would suggest that this be included in the itinerary - at least as an option.

We did not have opportunity for feedback for Andy in Shanghai and Helen in Guilin, and so would like to provide brief overall comments here.

Andy was very dedicated to his job, friendly and funny, had a very good command of English and was an informative guide. He was also very flexible in our interests - suggesting an easily added site to visit as well as spending considerable personal time and effort to change our train ticket to a much more convenient station close to our hotel. This saved us an early morning rise and tedious travel in Shanghai peak hour traffic. The driver was also excellent.

Helen was also dedicated to her job and a very informative guide. She also was able to suggest a very worthwhile addition to our itinerary and worked hard to ensure we didn’t miss out on anything. She was obviously dedicated to the Guilin area and very proud of it. Helen’s command of English was adequate, however she seemed to be better at speaking it than understanding our comments and questions. At times Helen asked feedback too often and seemed to be very much in need of positive comments about both the beauty of River Li and her as a guide.

We will certainly be recommending to our friends and acquaintances that they visit China, and that they use ChinaTours.com to do so.

Thank you for organising our wonderful trip. We have a million happy memories.

Jeremy & Jenny Connell
