Urumqi  
Drive to one of the ten big natural scenic spots of China, Heavenly Lake, where the melting snow on top of the mountains flew into the lower center of the mountain, and created the Heavenly Lake. Continuing the tour, you will visit the symbol of Urumqi, the Red Hill Park, you could get a bird's view from the top of the mountain of the surrounding countryside and breathtaking mountains. Pay a visit to the Erdaoqiao Bazaars, where you will have many choices for souvenirs and local snacks. (B+L)

Urumqi - Turpan  
Today's excursion takes you to the Mount Nan Pasture, which is about 80 kilometers from urban area, you could enjoy the sights of grassland here, and also you could visit a local Kazak family to drink milk tea and learn more about their daily life. In the afternoon, move to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum, where you could see the rich collection of historical relics and learn more about the customs and culture of different ethnic groups. Transfer to Turpan, on the way, you will have a stop at the biggest wind power plant in Asia. (B+L)

Today you will begin to explore Turpan, you will visit the a series of mirable ancient projects including the best preserved town ruin in China, Jiaohe Ruins;
the only Islamic tower among the hundred famous towers in China, Sugong Pagoda; the pride of Turpan, Karez Well system and followed by Grape Valley, where you can appreciate the local dancing performance in the evening. (B+L+D)

Turpan - Urumqi  
Pay a visit to the Gaochang Ruins, the ruins served as the economical and religious center of Asia is located 40 kilometers from the Turpan, then move to  Bezekelik Thousand Buddha Caves, which are complex of Buddhist cave grottos dating from the 5th to the 9th centuries, continuing the tour, you will visit the famed Flaming Hill and Astana Tombs. Private transfer takes you to Urumqi after the tour. (B+L)
