Arrive in Shanghai  
The guide will hold a warmly welcome to you at the airport, and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day will on your own to adapt the jet lag, or relax yourselves according to your preference.

Shanghai  
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your first day's trip in Shanghai begins. Our first destination is Shanghai Museum, which is first founded on 1952, is an ancient Artistic museum in China, you will invariantly marvel at the various and amazing cultural relics. Then drive to Yuyuan Garden. Yuyuan Garden owns about more than 400 years history, and was built as a private garden in Ming Dynasty. Jade Buddha Temple will be the last attraction of today. Jade Buddha Temple has achieved such fame due to the two incredible Jade Buddhas, and travelers will be fully impressed by the tenderness and kindness etc of the Buddha. (B+L)

Shanghai-Yichang  
Morning is free for you to arrange your own activities. You are suggested to visit Nanjing Road or Xintiandi etc. Then get to the airport by yourself and take a flight to Yichang. Our guide will meet you at the airport, and pay a visit to Three Travelers' Cave if time permits. After dinner at a local well-selected restaurant, help you board the 4 Star President Cruise and stay overnight. There will be a necessary safety, orientation & River Briefing presentation starts at about 20.30. (B+D)

Yangtze River Cruise  
Weighed anchor at 07:00 in the morning, the cruise will pass the east section of Xiling Gorge. The ship will pull in to shore, and you will take a shuttle bus arranged by the cruise company to visit the world known Three Gorges Dam, and see the great water-power project, which has attracted more and more visitors from home and abroad. The cruise will pass the five-step ship lock, and it is also an extremely special experience. Then, continue sailing through the west section of Xiling Gorge. In the evening, the elegant and exciting Captain's Welcome Party will be held. You can enjoy the Chinese folk dancing and music performance, and even take part in it for fun. (B+L+D)

Yangtze River Cruise  
The ship will land at Badong, there will be a small wooden boat trip arranged for you to enjoy the natural beauty of the crystal Shennong Stream. Return to the ship and pass Qutang Gorge, the shortest but most spectacular gorge, and the Wu Gorge, the most graceful of the Yangtze River afterwards. (B+L+D)

 Yangtze River Cruise  
Today there is a shore excursion to the famous Ghost City,  is considered to be the best place for people to learn about Chinese ghost culture, as Fengdu County has its own unique culture concerned with ghosts and the afterlife. Due to the river condition, Shibaozhai may be arranged alternatively.
There will be a Farewell Party tonight. And the get-together invites you to join in the cruise staff's performance. (B+L+D)

Chongqing-Xian  
After breakfast, please prepare well of your baggage etc for disembarking. The ship will arrive at Chaotianmen Dock, Chongqing, at about 9:00 in the morning. Our guide will meet you on board, and drive you to visit General Joseph W Stillwell Museum, a museum to commemorate the famous General Joseph W Stillwell, and Chongqing Zoo (including Panda House) to view the lovely pandas, a Chinese national treasure. Afterwards, see you off at the airport and take a flight to Xian. Upon your arrival, our local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. (B+L)

Xian  
Today is free for you to explore the city according to your preference, you are suggested to pay a visit to the landmark of Xian-Big Wild Goose Pagoda and a well-preserved Islamic mosque in China, Great Mosque, you can stroll along Muslim food street, and fully enjoy the local speciality.(B)  

Xian-Beijing  
Today's sightseeing begins with the astonishing Terra-Cotta Army, where you could view the discovery underground pits, and know about its abundant history and culture. After lunch, Shaanxi History Museum, and the ancient Xian City Wall, which is reputed as a timeless display of the ability and wisdom of the people of ancient China. After dinner, you will be transferred to the railway station to take an overnight soft-sleeper train to Beijing. (B+L+D)

  Beijing  
Our guide will pick you up from the railway station. After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, take you to visit Tiananmen Square. As the largest city square in the world, it has attracted more and more people from all over the world. Walking through the square, you can see the famous Forbidden City, where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Temple of Heaven where ancient emperors worshipped and prayed for harvest. (B+L)

Beijing  
The guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to view the famed Badaling Great Wall, where you can experience the magnificence of the World Wonder, and appreciate the fascinating scenery along the Great Wall. After lunch, pay a visit to Ming Tombs through Sacred Way. On the way back to the city, the guide will transfer you to the Olympic Stadium(Bird's Nest) and the National Swimming Centre(Water Cube), you can view the outward appearance and take some photos there. Beijing
Hotel accommodation and breakfast are arranged only today, the whole day will be arranged by yourselves according to your interests. You are kindly suggested to pay a visit to the imperial Summer Palace, Beijing Zoo to view the lovely pandas and other rare animals. Shopping at Wangfujing Street is also recommendable. (B)  

Departure from Beijing  
Please go to the airport and board your homeward flight by yourself according to your flight schedule. Service ends. (B)
