Detailed Itinerary of This Tour Package
Day 1 - Arrive in Beijing
CTO guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you at Beijing airport, and transfer you to the well located 5 Star hotel. The rest of today will be free for you to adjust the time difference or explore the city by yourself.

Day 2 - Beijing
Today's excursion covers the largest city square in the world, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City where 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years, and Temple of Heaven where ancient emperors worshipped and prayed for harvest. Today's Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant followed by a fascinating Peking Opera performance in the front zone at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)
Day 3 - Beijing
Drive to Badaling Great Wall, where you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along. After enjoying lunch at a local popular restaurant, continue to Ming Tombs through Sacred Way. Then back to downtown. En route, have a photo stop at the Olympic Stadium, nicknamed Bird's Nest and the National Swimming Centre, also known as the Water Cube. (B+L)
Day 4 - Beijing-Taiyuan
Today's tour takes you to Summer Palace, and Hutong area to experience the Chinese traditional life style by rickshaw. Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Taiyuan. Upon arrival, be met and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 5 - Taiyuan-Taigu-Pingyao
Pick up and drive to Taigu County to visit Shanxi Grace Vineyard, one of the few wineries in China that adopts French wine-making traditions. Afterwards, transfer to Pingyao Ancient Town. (B+L)

Day 6 - Pingyao
Have a whole day's sightseeing at the Pingyao Ancient Town, which is was first built in the Western Zhou Dynasty (BC 827 ~ BC 782) . It was the financial center in late Qing Dynasty. Now it is regarded as the most complete preservation of integrity of the historic city of China, as well as the ancient city prototype. You will visit all the highlights of this ancient city like Rishengchang Draft Bank, Ancient City Wall and Ming and Qing Street, etc. (B+L)
Day 7 - Pingyao - Taiyuan -Xian
Pay a visit to the Qiao's Compound before being transferred to Taiyuan airport and take a flight to Xian. On the way, visit Jinci Temple which is located 25 kilometers southwest of Taiyuan city. Upon your arrival at Xian, be met and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 8 - Xian
Drive to visit the Eighth Wonder in the world Terra-Cotta Army to see the life sized soldiers and horses, which was constructed to guard the tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang in Qin Dynasty. After lunch, visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the landmark of Xian, and Shaanxi History Museum. Then enjoy today's Dumpling Banquet and the splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. （B+L+D）
Day 9 - Xian-Yantai
Today's tour includes Xian City Wall and the well preserved Great Mosque, you will also have some free time at the nearby Muslim Quarter. Then transfer to the airport and take a flight to Yantai. Upon arrival, be met and transfer to the hotel.（B+L）

Day 10 - Yantai
Visit Changyu Wine Museum and Winery. （B+L）
Day 11 - Yantai - Shanghai

Day 12 - Shanghai
Your tour today starts with Shanghai Museum, where you could view the most precious Chinese Jade, painting, coins, furniture etc in the history, then the classical Yuyuan Garden with its surrounding markets including Shanghai Old Street, and finally Jade Buddha Temple, two large jade Buddha statues are preserved. Then appreciate the fantastic Acrobatic Show after dinner at a nice restaurant. （B+L+D）
Day 13 - Shanghai
Morning's excursion takes you to visit French Concession and Xintiandi Area, the bar street, where you will also see the unique Shikumen construction and pay a visit to Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. After lunch, enjoy the views along Huangpu River by taking Huangpu River Cruise. （B+L）
Day 14 - Departure from Shanghai
Pick up and transfer to the airport to take your homeward flight. （B）
