Day 1 - Arrive in Shanghai

Meet our guide upon arrival and airport to hotel transfer. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 - Shanghai

Commence to the grand Shanghai Museum, elegant Yuyuan Garden, which is a 400 year old classical Chinese garden in the Old Town of Shanghai, not far from the Bund,after a special a la carte visit the ancient Jade Buddha Temple. Today's dinner will be followed by the exciting Chinese Acrobatic Show. (B+L+D)
Day 3 - Shanghai-Xian

Hotel to airport transfer and fly to Xian in the morning. Meet our guide upon arrival and airport to hotel transfer. Visit the most complete city wall that has survived in China, Xian City Wall. For dinner, the scheduled Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show will liven up your Dumpling Banquet. (B+L+D)

Day 4 - Xian

Today's sightseeing takes you to the amazing Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, the Bronze Chariot and the Circle Vision Movie. After enjoying an a la carte lunch, pay a visit to the landmark of Xian, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is a major Buddhist site, the simple, elegant brick Pagoda stands in the grounds of the attractive Da Ci'en Temple.(B+L)
Day 5 - Xian-Xining

Drive about one hour to Zhouzhi National Nature Reserve, which is specialized in raising wild giant pandas and other rare wild animals, e.g. golden monkey, crested Ibis and other kinds of rare birds and animals, where you will find various information about the Giant Panda and you will enter into a world filled with the wildlife. Then you will visit the Donghan Village, where has famous and fabulous farmer's paintings and paper cutting in China. By visiting the new village, you will have a chance to learn what a change the Chinese farmers' life in the last 20 years after China's Opening Door Policy, and you could have a chance to learn about Chinese painting and paper cutting, these works themed on farmer's daily life, e.g. plowing, harvesting and so on, and you will enjoy the farmers' lunch as well. Transfer to the airport and take a flight to Xining. Meet our guide upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 6 - Xining-Qinghaihu-Xining

Head for the largest monastery in Qinghai, Ta'er Monastery. After lunch, drive to China's largest inland saltwater lake in the northwestern Qinghai Province and ranks top of China's five most beautiful lakes, Qinghai Lake. (B+L)
Day 7 - Xining-Lanzhou

Today we will drive to Lanzhou to see the beautiful White Pagoda Park and Waterwheel Garden. (B+L)

Day 8 - Lanzhou

Reach Binglingsi Grottoes after a 75 km drive by car, the Binglingsi Grottoes are cut on steep cliffs along the Yellow River, and you will see about 800 sculptures by boat about 2 km long in a honeycomb pattern along the river. (B+L)
Day 9 - Lanzhou-Xiahe

Today's excursion takes you to Xiahe. Enjoying Sangke Grassland flavor will be followed by a Tibetan Family Visit. (B+L)

Day 10 - Xiahe-Lanzhou

Drive to one of the six great monasteries of the Geluk (Yellow Hat) school of Tibetan Buddhism, the solemn and respectful Labrang Monastery. Transfer back to Lanzhou. (B+L)

Day 11 - Lanzhou-Wuwei-Zhangye

A whole day's sightseeing covers Leitai Tomb of Han Dynasty and the ancient Wuwei Wen Temple. Then drive to Zhangye and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 12 - Zhangye-Jiayuguan

Today we will see a symbol of Zhangye, Giant Buddha Temple, and Wooden Pagoda Temple. Drive to Jiayuguan and transfer to the local best hotel. (B+L)

Day 13 - Jiayuguan-Dunhuang

Proceed to the west starting point of Great Wall in Ming Dynasty, Jiayuguan Pass,and Overhanging Great Wall. Drive to Dunhuang and transfer to the local best hotel. (B+L)

Day 14 - Dunhuang

Today you will experience the desert flavor along the Echoing-Sand Dune to Crescent Lake by riding a camel. The Crescent Lake is a truly oasis in the desert, the pool doesn't dry up as one might expect although it is in the desert. After lunch, the artistic Mogao Grottoes will wait for you to explore in the afternoon, the caves hold the world's richest treasure house of Buddhist sutras, murals and sculptures. (B+L)
Day 15 - Dunhuang-Beijing

Hotel to airport transfer and fly to Beijing. Meet our guide upon arrival and airport to hotel transfer. After a special a la carte lunch, head for one of the best-preserved royal garden complexes in Beijing, Summer Palace. (B+L)

Day 16 - Beijing

Head for the grand Tiananmen Square, where the square is flanked by The Great Hall of the People (west), The Museum of the Chinese Revolution and The Museum of Chinese History (east). Chairman Mao's mausoleum and Qianmen (Front Gate) sit in the south of the square. And then visit majestic Forbidden City, which was the place where the emperors of Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) Dynasties lived and carried out their administration. After having lunch, visit China's largest extant sacrificial temple, Temple of Heaven. Enjoy a palatable Peking Duck Banquet for dinner in a notable restaurant followed by a classical Peking Opera Performance. (B+L+D)
Day 17 - Beijing

Proceed to the famed Badaling Great Wall, zigzagging over 6,000 kilometers from east to west along the undulating mountains. After enjoying lunch, reach Ming Tombs through Sacred Way. On the way back to the city, you will have a photo stop at the Olympic Stadium, nicknamed Bird's Nest and the National Swimming Centre, also known as the Water Cube. Dinner is left for you to taste some local snacks yourself. (B+L)
Day 18 - Departure from Beijing

Hotel to airport transfer, see off. (B)
