Tour Summary : Besides the capital city Beijing, this tour will take you to have a walk on the ancient and mysterious Silk Road starts from Xian. On this ancient road you will visit Terra-Cotta Army, one of the four most famous Grottoes- Mogao Grottoes, Binglingsi Grottoes, carved in the steep cliffs along the Yellow River, Wei-Jin Art Gallery, the largest underground art gallery in the world, Labrang Monastery-a Tibetan style monastery etc.

Day 1 - Arrive in Beijing
After arrival, be met at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is for you to recover from the jet lag.

Day 2 - Beijing
Today's tour covers Tianmen Square, the largest city square in the world, the royal construction complex Forbidden City, the working and living place for Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the majestic Temple of Heaven. Your welcoming dinner-Peking Duck Banquet will be followed by the elegant Peking Opera Performance. （B+L+D）
Day 3 - Beijing
This morning you will be driven to visit the Badaling Great Wall, the most gorgeous and representative part of the Great Wall. After enjoying lunch, transfer to visit Ming Tombs through Sacred Way. Then on the way back to downtown, have a photo stop at the Olympic Stadium, nicknamed Bird's Nest and the National Swimming Centre, also known as the Water Cube. （B+L）
Day 4 - Beijing-Xian
Pay a visit to the royal garden-Summer Palace before driving to take your flight to Xian. Be met and transferred to your hotel in Xian. Rest of the day is for you to explore the historical Xian or have a rest. （B+L）

Day 5 - Xian
Drive to visit the Eighth Wonder in the world Terra-Cotta Army to see the life sized soldiers and horses, which was constructed to guard the tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang in Qin Dynasty. After lunch, pay a visit to Huaqing Hot Spring, the ancient imperial palace and bathing resort. Afterwards, drive back to the hotel to prepare for today's Dumpling Banquet and the splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. （B+L+D）
Day 6 - Xian
Today's tour includes Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the landmark of Xian, Shaanxi History Museum, and the well preserved Great Mosque, you will also have some free time at the nearby Muslim Quarter. （B+L）
Day 7 - Xian-Dunhuang
Pick up and visit Xian City Wall, the best preserved, as well as the oldest and largest of the city defense systems in China before being transferred to the airport to take a flight to Dunhuang. Be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is for you to relax. （B+L）

Day 8 - Dunhuang
Your tour today starts with Mogao Grottoes, one of the four most famous grottoes in China, which is famous for its frescos and statues. Mogao Grottoes is also called Thousand-Buddha's Cave and regarded as the most valued cultural discovery in 20 century. Then drive to Echoing-Sand Dune, the deserts which could sound and the oasis in desert Crescent Lake which is encircled by the Echoing-Sand Dune, where you will have a short camel riding trip. Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel. （B+L）
Day 9 - Dunhuang-Jiayuguan
Private transfer to Jiayuguan. Today's sightseeing covers Jiayuguan Pass, the west starting point of the Great Wall in Ming Dynasty and Overhanging Great Wall, which is built on a 45℃ angle mountain ridge. （B+L）

Day 10 - Jiayuguan-Lanzhou
Today's morning excursion takes you to Wei-Jin Art Gallery, the largest underground art gallery in the world, which reflect the politics, economy, culture, military, custom etc in Wei and Jin Dynasty. After enjoying your lunch, be transferred to the airport to fly to Lanzhou. Be met and transferred to your hotel. （B+L）

Day 11 - Lanzhou
Today's sightseeing takes you to Binglingsi Grottoes, which are carved in the steep cliffs along the Yellow River, you will see about 800 sculptures by boat along the river for about 2 km. （B+L）
Day 12 - Lanzhou-Xiahe
Drive to Xiahe to visit the beautiful Sangke Grassland, you will see herds of sheep and cows, a perfect place for enjoying a pastoral life. Then have a local Tibetan Family visit to experience the local's life. （B+L）

Day 13 - Xiahe-Lanzhou-Shanghai
Pay a visit to the dignified Labrang Monastery, where you could see tens of thousands of statues of Buddha made of gold, silver, copper, aluminum. Then transfer to the airport and fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, be met and transfer to the airport.（B+L）
