Tour Summary : Chengdu, as the capital city of Sichuan Province, is perfectly combined the ancient civilization and modern life. It is the hometown of Giant Panda and famous for its especially long history and beautiful landscapes. Lotus is chosen to be the Flower of the City. That can explain why Chengdu is also called the Lotus City.
What's Special : Dazu Carvings: Dazu county is 83 kilometers to the west of the Chongqing, The Dazu Carvings is as famous as the Mogao Cave in Dunhuang. It spread across more than 75 sites in the county, and contain over 50,000 stone sculptures carved from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The rock carvings in these places are very distinguished both at home and abroad.
Detailed Itinerary of This Tour Package
Day 1 - Arrive in Chengdu
Upon your arrival, our local guide will wait for you at Chengdu airport, take car to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you.

Day 2 - Chengdu–Leshan-E'mei Mountain
After breakfast, drive to the Visit the Leshan Giant Buddha, the biggest carvings in the world. Then, transfer to the hotel on E'mei Mountain. You will stay overnight on the mountain. (B+L+D)

Day 3 - Mt. Emei-Chengdu
Visit Baoguo Temple, standing at the foot of Mt. Emei, it is the largest temple in Mt. Emei, go ahead to visit the Wannian Monastery and enjoy the beautiful scenery of E'mei Mountain. Transfer to Chengdu. (B+L)

Day 4 - Chengdu
After breakfast, visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in the morning. After having lunch, then you will be drive to visit the miracle Sanxingdui Museum. Transfer back to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 5 - Chengdu–Chongqing
Take the express train to Chongqing in the morning. Our local guide will pick you up at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. After lunch, visit the General Joseph W Stillwell Museum. General Joseph Warren Stilwell was chief commander of US forces in the China-Burma-India Theatre during World War II. Also was a true friend of the Chinese people. Then, go ahead to visit Ciqikou Old Town, situated on the bank of the Jialing River. It was recognized as a protected cultural site by the State Council in 1998. (B+L)

Day 6 - Chongqing
Full day's sightseeing in The Dazu Rock Carvings which is as popular as the Yungang and Longmen Grottoes offers you an enjoyment of the exquisite Chinese grotto art. Transfer back to Chongqing. (B+L)
Day 7 - Departure from Chongqing
After breakfast, our local guide will pick you up at the lobby of hotel. See off by your flight. (B)
