Detailed Itinerary of This Tour Package
Day 1 - Arrival in Lhasa
CTO guide will meet you at the airport and show you to hotel. You will need time to adapt to the high altitude and should avoid excessive physical activity for the rest of the day in order to prevent altitude sickness. Dinner is served at hotel. (D)

Day 2 - Lhasa
Drive to the most imposing attraction- Potala Palace, which was built in 637 AD by Songtsen Gampo, it was the former winter residence for the Dalai Lamas and is truly a splendor of Eastern architectures. After lunch, commence to the summer resort of Lama, Norbulingka, which is a very picturesque garden built over 200 years ago, then go ahead for Tibet Museum, where you will get to know the history and the development of Tibet. Day 3 - Lhasa
Today's excursion covers the Jokhang Temple, the center of Tibetan Buddhism, and was built in the 7th century, then go head for the surrounding Bhakhor Street. Then you will visit Tibetan Traditional Hospital, and the notable Sera Monastery for Lama scripture debate. (B+L+D)
Day 4 - Lhasa- Namtso Lake-Lhasa
Go on to explore Lhasa by visiting the charming Namtso Lake which will send you carefree and joyous. On the way to the beautiful lake, see the spectacular scenery of the geothermic electro power station, Yambajan. Drive back to Lhasa. (B+L+D)
Day 5 - Lhasa
Pick you up. Head for Drepung Monastery. After having lunch, commence to the Gandan Monastery. They are considered two of the 'Three Great Monasteries' (the other one is Sera Monastery). (B+L+D)
Day 6 - Departure from Lhasa
Transfer to the airport to put a period to your memorable Lhasa tour. Service ends here. (B)
