As the largest square in the world, Tiananmen Square has paid witness to the indomitable and dauntless spirit of the Chinese people. You can walk along the square, and experience the greatness of it.

Cross the square, the front gate of Forbidden City-Meridian Gate will present to your eye. Forbidden City is world famous for the residence of 24 emperors in the Chinese history. You will be fully impressed by its architectural arts. It is considered as one of the largest, oldest and best preserved architecture in the world.

After a dainty lunch in the well- investigated restaurant, we will proceed to Temple of Heaven, where the Emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties offered sacrifices to Heaven to pray for good harvests. Here, you could taste the traditional Chinese culture everywhere.

For today's dinner, we will arrange peking Duck Dinner for you, there is a saying said that it is really a pity if you do not enjoy Peking Duck while in Beijing. An electrifying Peking Opera Performance will wait for you afterwards. (B+L+D)  

Today, we will commence to visit one of the Eight World Wonders- Great Wall. The section we arrange is Badaling Great Wall, which is the best preserved and most representative one. You could appreciate the magnificent and graceful scenery along the Great Wall, and perfectly understand the saying that" He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man".

Afterwards, transfer to Ming Tombs. Walking along Sacred Way, the main road leading to Ming Tombs, you can enjoy the various stone statues on the two sides. Sacred Way is considered as the way to the heaven, and is very auspicious; it is a special experience to approach Ming Tombs via Sacred Way.

On the way back to downtown, we will take you to visit the " Bird Nest" and " Water Cube", which were built for the Olympic Game of 2008 in China. You can take photos there, while viewing the outward appearance of them, you can imagine how spectacular and successful the Olympic game were. Back to the hotel. (B+L)

Before fly to the biggest modern metropolis-Shanghai, Pay a visit to Summer Palace, a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. It was served as the imperial garden, providing Emperors and their families with rest and entertainment. In order to make you know more about the Chinese history and everyday life of traditional local residents, we provide you experiencing Hutong by rickshaw, which is the main transportation in the ancient time. The trishaw riders will ride you cross the street, through the narrow Hutong, and have a chance to communicate with the local people in the courtyards etc. After the a la carte lunch, see you off at the airport, and take the flight to your next destination Shanghai. Local guide in Shanghai will greet you accordingly and drop you off at the hotel.(B+L)

You are provided some free time to stroll around. After the a la carte lunch, continue to Jade Buddha Temple, where the two Jade Buddhist Statues kept, you may be moved by the peaceful and solemn atmosphere. After breakfast in the hotel, take you to visit French Concession Region, Xintiandi, and the Site of First National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. Board a flight to Yichang, where the upstream Yangtze River begins. Upon arrival, if your time permits, go to visit Three Travelers' Cave Carved with poems and graffiti of ancient visitors.After dinner, you will embark the luxury President Cruise Ship and stay overnight. Disembark to see the great water-power project, Three Gorges Dam. You will pass the five-step ship lock at 12:00. Then, continue sailing through the west section of Xiling Gorge. Prepare well for check-out after breakfast. The ship will arrive at Chaotianmen Dock, Chongqing, at around 9:00 in the morning. Our guide will meet you on board. Drive to visit General Joseph W Stillwell Museum and Chongqing Zoo (including Panda House).Then take you to the airport to board the flight to Xian. Your exploration to one of the four famous Ancient Cities in China begins by warm welcome of our guide in the airport. (B+L)

Pay a visit to Xian City Wall and a well-preserved Islamic mosque in China, Great Mosque, you will have some free time at the Muslim food street which is not far from the mosque. CT guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and drive you to the Zhujiang Pier to take a cruise along Li River. We feast our eyes on the beautiful scene around. After about 4 hours' cruise, the boat disembarks Yangshuo, a little town surrounded by karst peaks and bordered on one side by the Li River. And biking in beautiful Yangshuo along the country lane begins. Escaping from the boisterous metropolis and riding bicycle through the quiet and comfortable country side is really an unforgettable experience. On the way of biking, we also arrange a family visit to experience the local lifestyle. After dinner, enjoy the well known show-Impression Liusanjie. Transfer back to the hotel. (B+L+D)

Please arrange your own transporation to Guilin, and the day is left on your own to visit Guilin according to your preference.
