Day 1
Please check in Victoria Prince Cruise(5 star) on your own, it edges out of port at 10:00 and take shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City, known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill.
Day 2
Enter the Three Gorges, one of the mostextraordinary sculptures. Today you will pass through the first two-Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Qutang Gorge is the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic. The 25-mile long Wu Gorge is known for its quiet beauty, forest-covered mountains. Take an excursion through the Small Three Gorges, which are
narrower than the Three Gorges,but very impressive.(Depending of river conditions, an alternate excrusion may be substituted to Shennong Stream, which has its attractive gorges.) Enter Xiling Gorge, the longest (41miles), and the deepest of the Three Gorges. In the evening, sail through the Three Gorges Dam Ship locks.(B+L+D)
Day 3
Visit to the Three Gorges Dam site in Xiling Gorge; it is the largest project of its kind in the world. The Dam will be 2,335 meters long, 18 meters wide, and its bottom will be 130 meters wide after completion in 2009, and by then the water level will rise to 135 meters above sea level. The reservoir began filling on June 1, 2003, and will occupy the present position of the scenic Three Gorges area, between the cities of Yichang, Hubei; and Fuling, Chongqing Municipality.(B+L+D)
Day 4
Take an afternoon excrusion of Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province. Visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. This museum is highlighted by a large collection of artefacts from the Zenghouyi Tomb dating from aound 433 BC and unearthed
in 1978, the most spectacular collection is a complete set of 65 ritual bronze bells of different sizes made more than 2200 yeaers ago that are played using
hammer-like objects and poles, the museum offers wonderful performances on duplicate bells throughout the day.(B+L+D)
Day 5
Full day excrusion to Huangshan,one of China's most famous mountain ranges. Travel to the royal retreat through some of the country's most scenic rural areas.
(Jiuhuashan or "Mountain of the Nine Lotuses" may be substituted if weather or road conditions do not permit a visit to Huangshan.)(B+L+D)
Day 6
Visit Nanjing, where you will tour the Sun Yat-sen Memorial and a Qing Dynasty style bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple.(B+L+D)
Day 7
Arrive in Shanghai at 8:00am, China's dynamic international commercial center.Your memorable Cruise trip ends here.
