Day 1 Arrive in Beijing
You will be picked up at Beijing Capital Airport and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day will be at your disposal.
Day 2 Beijing
Begin to explore Beijing from paying a visit first to the largest and grandest square in the world – Tiananmen Square. As walking through the square, you will come to the magnificent Forbidden City, the biggest palace complex in the world.Then go on to appreciate the fantastic Summer Palace, the biggest and best-preserved imperial garden so far.At night, the dinner is arranged to let you taste mouthwatering and authentic Peking Duck. Day 3 Beijing
The sightseeing today starts from exploring the great Temple of Heaven where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties had worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest. Afterwards, you will be guided to the snaking Mutianyu Great Wall, an uncrowded section with comfortable round trip cable car to take and picturesque scenery to enjoy. As for lunch, it will be offered at an elegant restaurant at the foot of the Great Wall. Take a chance to have a close view of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube on the way back to hotel. (B+L)
Day 4 Beijing - Xian
After breakfast,pay a visit of the Lama Temple. Then, you will hop on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys for a Hutong Tour and pay a visit of a local family as well as have lunch with local neighborhoods. Then you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Xian. Upon your arrival at Xian, your local guide will meet you at airport and then transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 5 Xian
After breakfast at the hotel, go to visit the Terracotta Army of Qin Shihuang which is reputed as the largest underground military base in the world. After enjoying lunch, you'll explore the ancient Xian City Wall. The City Wall of Xian is the most complete one that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world, which was founded about 600 years ago. Then you will visit the Great Mosque with Muslim Street. The Great Mosque is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China. (B+L)
Day 6 Xian - Chongqing
This morning you'll explore the Shaanxi History Museum. Then pass by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda(1.5 hour) – the sign of ancient Xi'an .Make a stop and choose the best angle to view this "Leaning Tower of China", you will also be amazed by those exquisite architectures and sculptures on the two sides of the square in the front of the pagoda.Then head for the airport and take the flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival in Chongqing, our guide will meet you at the airport and then visit Ciqikou Old Town if time permits. After dinner, embark the luxury cruise ship which will weigh anchor at 22:30. There is a necessary Safety, Orientation & River Briefing presentation for you. (B+D)
Day 7 Yangtze River Cruise
Enjoy beautiful scenery along Yangtze River. Shore excursion to Shibaozhai. Lose yourself in the wonderful Chinese folk dance and music performance by the cruise staff at the exciting Captain's Welcome Party in the evening. (B+L+D)
Scenic Spots: The Shibaozhai looks like a strangely-shaped pagoda hugging a hill. It is about 200 meters or 700 feet tall. People were hauled up to the temple until the stairway and the floors below were built. In there past, there were tourist stalls between the dock and the Shibaozhai. Now, It is one of the highlights along the Yangtze and the Three Gorges Lake.
Day 8 Yangtze River Cruise
Sailing along Yangtze River offers you the charming sights of the spectacular Qutang Gorge and the pretty Wu Gorge. The knowledgeable river guide will let you get more idea of Three Gorges including the ancient plank road, mengliang stairway and hanging coffins. Land at Badong and enjoy the natural beauty along the crystal Shengnong Stream by taking a small wooden boat. Return to the ship and continue sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge. Tonight Farewell Party invites you to join in the excellent performance by the cruise staffs. (B+L+D)
Day 9 Yichang - Shanghai
Visit the great project of Three Gorges Dam after breakfast. Then back to the ship and prepare well for check-out. The ship will arrive in Yichang and our guide will meet you on board. After lunch at a notable restaurant, transfer you to the airport and fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 10 Shanghai
In the morning, head for Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, and Nanjing Road as well as the Bund. After A La Carte lunch, visit Yuyuan Garden with the local market nearby, and then proceed to New Spot(XinTianDi).Take the Huangpu River Cruise to appreciate the scenery of Shanghai. Day 11 Departure from Shanghai
Our guide will pick you up at the hotel according to your flight schedule and transfer you to the airport to take the flight to your next destination. Service ends. (B)
