Day 1
Arrive in Beijing
Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed at the airport and transfer to the hotel. We will leave the rest of the day on you own to adapt the time difference and do enough preparation for your trip.
Day 2
Beijing
Begin to explore Beijing from paying a visit first to the largest and grandest square in the world – Tiananmen Square. As walking through the square, you will come to the magnificent Forbidden City, the biggest palace complex in the world. Then, you will hop on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys for a Hutong Tour, and pay a visit of a local family as well as have the lunch with local neighborhoods. Then go on to appreciate the fantastic Summer Palace, the biggest and best-preserved imperial garden so far. (B+L)
Day 3
Beijing
The sightseeing today starts from exploring the great Temple of Heaven where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties had worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest. Afterwards, you will be guided to the snaking Mutianyu Great Wall, an uncrowded section with comfortable round trip cable car to take and picturesque scenery to enjoy. As for lunch, it will be offered at an elegant restaurant at the foot of the Great Wall.Take a chance to have a close view of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube on the way back to the city. At night, the dinner is arranged to let you taste mouthwatering and authentic Peking Duck. Enjoy the world-famous Kung Fu Show afterwards.(B+L+D)
Day 4
Beijing-Lhasa
Drive to the airport to take flight to Lhasa. Our guide in Lhasa will meet you at the airport and show you to the hotel. Rest of the day is left for you to adapt to the high altitude. You should avoid excessive physical activity for the rest of the day in order to prevent altitude sickness. Dinner is served at hotel.(B+D)
Day 5
Lhasa
Drive to the magnificent Potala Palace in the morning. After lunch, commence to the Jokhang Temple and the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street. Lhasa Nunnery is followed by. (B+L)
Day 6
Lhasa
Head for commence to visit the Norbulingka and Tibet Museum. After having lunch, go ahead to the Sera Monastery for Lama scripture debate. (B+L)
Day 7
Lhasa-Tsetang
Drive to Tsetang, and visit the Yumbulagang Palace and the Trandruk Monastery. (B+L)
Day 8
Tsetang-Gyangtse
Drive to the ferry of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, and take the ferry across to visit the Samye Monastery. On the way to Gyangtse, stop at Yamdrok Lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Karola Snow Mountain. check in the hotel. (B+L)
Day 9
Gyangtse-Shigatse
Today you will visit Palkhor Monastery and Gyangtse Old Street in the morning. Then, transfer to Shigatse to visit Tashilunpo Monastery. (B+L)
Day 10
Shigatse-Dingri
Transfer to Dingri, and check in at the hotel. See Sakya Monastery and Lhatse city on the way to Dingri. Dinner is served at the hotel. (B+L+D)
Day 11
Dingri-Everest Base Camp-Dingri
Today's sightseeing takes you to the Everest Base Camp and the highest Monastery in the world - Rongbuk Monastery. Then back to Dingri. Dinner is served at the hotel. (B+L+D)
Day 12
Dingri-Zhangmu
Drive to Zhangmu (about 6 hours) and transfer to the hotel. On the way, you could enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Himilayas. Dinner is served in the hotel. (B+L+D)
Day 13
Zhangmu-Katmandu
See off at the Friendship Bridge of the border to Nepal. After receive and complete immigration formalities. Drive to Kathmandu about 125 Km. Upon arrival, check in. The rest of the day is left on your own.(B+L)
Day 14
Katmandu
Have a guided cultural tour around Kathmandu (Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa & Bouddhanath Stupa). (B+L)
Day 15
Katmandu
Guided sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square. (B+L)
Day 16
Departure from Katmandu
Transfer you to the airport to take your home flight and see off. (B)
