Day 1
Arrive in Shanghai
Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.
Day 2
Shanghai
In the morning, head for Shanghai Museum where a large number of cultural relics from different dynasties are displayed and Nanjing Road. After enjoying lunch, visit Yuyuan Garden with the local market nearby, and then take a walk along Tianzifang where you can find the special architecture of old Shanghai city. Enjoy the exciting Acrobatic Show. Drive back to the hotel. (B+A La Carte Lunch)
Day 3
Shanghai-Xian
Today you will board a flight to Xian in the morning. After enjoying a special a la carte, visit Xian City Wall (Bicycle Riding on the wall is included) and the Great Mosque where you would have some free time shopping in Moslem square. Get back to the hotel. (B+A La Carte Lunch)
Day 4
Xian
The highlight of the tour today lies in the world-shaking Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses where you might be shocked by the rows of life-size warriors in order. After lunch, pass by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda – the sign of ancient Xi'an on the way back to the hotel. Make a stop and choose the best angle to view this "Leaning Tower of China", you will also be amazed by those exquisite architectures and sculptures on the two sides of the square in the front of the pagoda. For today's dinner, the scheduled Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show will liven up your Dumpling Banquet. (B+Lunch+Dumpling Banquet)

Day 5
Xian-Dunhuang
Pick you up and transfer to the airport and take a flight to Dunhuang. Upon arrival, experience the desert flavor along the Echoing-Sand Dune to Crescent Lake by riding a camel. (B)
Day 6
Dunhuang-Turpan
Relax the free morning. Visit the artistic Mogao Grottoes after lunch. Then take an overnight soft-sleeper train to Turpan. (B+L)
Day 7
Turpan
Our guide will wait for you at the railway station and transfer to the local best hotel. After breakfast, proceed to a series of mirable ancient projects including Jiaohe Ruins, Sugong Pagoda and Karez Well. Drive back to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 8
Turpan
Pick you up. Today's sightseeing covers Gaochang Ruins, Baizikelik Thousand Buddha Caves and Flaming Hill followed by Astana Tombs. Then drive to the hotel. (B+L+D)
Day 9
Turpan-Korla
Pick you up. Drive for about 6 hours to Korla, visit the Iron Gate Pass. Transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 10
Korla-Minfeng (Niya)
Drive for about 12 hours along the Southern Silk Road crossing the Taklamakan Desert. Enjoy the scenery of sand dune. Transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 11
Minfeng (Niya) -Hetian
Drive for about 6.5 hours to Hetian. Transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 12
Hetian-Yarkand
See how silks, jade, carpets and knives are produced. Drive for about 5.5 hours to Yarkand. Visit Amannishahan Tomb. Transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 13
Yarkand-Kashgar
Drive for about 4 hours to Kashgar. Visit the famed Id Kah Mosque and the grand Abakh Khoja Tomb. (B+L)
Day 14
Kashgar-Urumqi
Today we will visit the lively Sunday Market. Take a flight to Urumqi and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 15
Urumqi-Beijing
Pick you up. We will see the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum in the morning. Then transfer to the airport and take a flight to Beijing. Take a chance to have a close view of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube on the way to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 16
Beijing
The sightseeing today starts from exploring the great Temple of Heaven where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties had worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest. Afterwards, you will be guided to the snaking Mutianyu Great Wall, an uncrowded section with comfortable round trip cable car to take and picturesque scenery to enjoy. As for lunch, it will be offered at an elegant restaurant at the foot of the Great Wall. At night, the dinner is arranged to let you taste mouthwatering and authentic Peking Duck. Enjoy the world-famous Kung Fu Show afterwards.(B+L+D)
Day 17
Beijing
Begin to explore Beijing from paying a visit first to the largest and grandest square in the world – Tiananmen Square. As walking through the square, you will come to the magnificent Forbidden City, the biggest palace complex in the world. Then, you will hop on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys for a Hutong Tour, and pay a visit of a local family as well as have the lunch with local neighborhoods. Then go on to appreciate the fantastic Summer Palace, the biggest and best-preserved imperial garden so far. (B+L)
Meals: The elaborate imperial-style lunch at Beihai Fangshan Restaurant is served for Premium tour.
Day 18
Departure from Beijing
Our guide will wait for you at the hotel lobby according to your flight schedule. Transfer to the airport to take your homeward flight. Our service ends. (B)
