Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will meet you at the airport and bring you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to get over the jet lag or explore the city by yourself.
Day 2 Beijing
Begin to explore Beijing from paying a visit first to the largest and grandest square in the world – Tiananmen Square. As walking through the square, you will come to the magnificent Forbidden City, the biggest palace complex in the world. After A La Carte lunch, go on to appreciate the fantastic Summer Palace, the biggest and best-preserved imperial garden so far. At night, the dinner is arranged to let you taste mouthwatering and authentic Peking Duck. (B+A La Carte Lunch+Peking Duck Dinner)
Day 3 Beijing
The sightseeing today starts from exploring the great Temple of Heaven where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties had worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest. Afterwards, you will be guided to the snaking Mutianyu Great Wall, an uncrowded section with comfortable round trip cable car to take and picturesque scenery to enjoy. As for lunch, it will be offered at an elegant restaurant at the foot of the Great Wall. Then take a chance to have a close view of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube on the way back to hotel. (B+L)
Day 4 Beijing-Xian
After breakfast,pay a visit of the Lama Temple. Then, you will hop on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys for a Hutong Tour, and pay a visit of a local family as well as have the lunch with local neighborhoods. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Xian. Upon your arrival at Xian, your local guide will meet you at airport and then transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 5 Xian
The highlight of the tour today lies in the world-shaking Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses where you might be shocked by the rows of life-size warriors in order. After lunch,transfer to visit the ancient Xian City Wall and the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China, Great Mosque, you will have some free time to wander around the well know Muslim street nearby. Day 6 Xian - Guilin
After breakfast in the hotel, you will find our guide waiting for you in the hotel lobby, transfer to visit the elegant and dignified Shaanxi History Museum. Then pass by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda – the sign of ancient Xi'an. Make a stop and choose the best angle to view this "Leaning Tower of China", you will also be amazed by those exquisite architectures and sculptures on the two sides of the square in the front of the pagoda. After enjoying a special A La Carte lunch in a featured local style restaurant, transfer to the airport to take your flight to Guilin. Our guide will pick you up at Guilin airport and then transfer to the hotel. (B+A La Carte Lunch)
Day 7 Guilin-Yangshuo
Our guide will bring you to the Zhujiang Pier where we will take a cruise ship to sail along the Li River. Indulge yourself in the captivating natural beauties along the river. Reach Yangshuo after 4-hour cruise. Take an exciting bicycle tour of the intoxicating countryside and pay a visit to the local family to experience the local lifestyle. (B+L)
Note:: If you don't like riding bicycle in Yangshuo, electric sightseeing vehicle could also be arranged instead, but the extra charge will be paid on your own.
Day 8 Yangshuo-Guilin
Drive back to Guilin city and pay a visit of Reed Flute Cave where you'll marvel at the enthralling karst landscape and Elephant Trunk Hill which symbolizes Guilin Landscape. (B+A La Carte Lunch)
Day 9 Guilin - Chongqing
Go to the airport and take the flight to Chongqing. Our Chongqing guide will greet you at the airport and bring you to the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo where you can find the adorable giant pandas and the historic Ciqikou Old Town which boasts a long history of over 1,000 years. After dinner, embark on the cruise ship and stay overnight. (B+L+D)
Day 10 Yangtze River Cruise
Sail along the Yangtze River today. Shore excursion to Shibaozhai. Lose yourself in the wonderful Chinese folk dance and music performance by the cruise staff at the exciting Captain's Welcome Party in the evening. (B+L+D)
Scenic Spots: The Shibaozhai looks like a strangely-shaped pagoda hugging a hill. It is about 200 meters or 700 feet tall. People were hauled up to the temple until the stairway and the floors below were built. In there past, there were tourist stalls between the dock and the Shibaozhai. Now, It is one of the highlights along the Yangtze and the Three Gorges Lake.
Day 11 Yangtze River Cruise
Today's sailing along Yangtze River offers you the charming sights of the spectacular Qutang Gorge and the Wu Gorge. The knowledgeable guide will offer you more information about the Three Gorges, including the ancient plank road, mengliang stairway and hanging coffins. Land at Badong and take a small wooden-boat to enjoy the unrivalled natural beauty of the fabulous Shennong Stream. Return to the ship and enter the western section of the Xiling Gorge. The great performance at the Farewell Party is an unforgettable sight. (B+L+D)
Day 12 Yichang - Shanghai
Disembark after breakfast to enjoy the gigantic Three Gorges Dam. Return to the cruise ship and prepare for check out. The cruise ship will reach Yichang around 11:30 and our guide will meet you on board. After lunch, proceed to the airport and leave for Shanghai. Our Shanghai guide will greet you at the airport and show you to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 13 Shanghai
Today's excursion starts with Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Then take a walk at the Bund and Nanjing Road. After enjoying A La Carte lunch, visit Yuyuan Garden where you will have some free time at the surrounding local bazaars and New Spot(XinTianDi), which is one symbol of Shanghai folk culture.And then take the Huangpu River Cruise to enjoy the impressive scenery. Day 14 Departure from Shanghai
According to your homeward flight schedule, our guide will pick you up and take you to the airport to take your homeward flight. Your memorable China tour ends. (B)
