Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will be meeting you at the Beijing International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of today is free for you to adjust to the time difference or explore the city by yourself.
Day 2 Beijing
Begin to explore Beijing from paying a visit first to the largest and grandest square in the world – Tiananmen Square. As walking through the square, you will come to the magnificent Forbidden City, the biggest palace complex in the world. After A La Carte lunch,go on to appreciate the fantastic Summer Palace, the biggest and best-preserved imperial garden so far.At night, the dinner is arranged to let you taste mouthwatering and authentic Peking Duck. Day 3 Beijing
The sightseeing today starts from exploring the great Temple of Heaven where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties had worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest. Afterwards, you will be guided to the snaking Mutianyu Great Wall, an uncrowded section with comfortable round trip cable car to take and picturesque scenery to enjoy. As for lunch, it will be offered at an elegant restaurant at the foot of the Great Wall. Then take a chance to have a close view of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube on the way back to hotel. (B+L)
Day 4 Beijing-Xian
After breakfast,pay a visit of the Lama Temple. Then, you will hop on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys for a Hutong Tour, and pay a visit of a local family as well as have the lunch with local neighborhoods. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Xian. Upon your arrival at Xian, your local guide will meet you at airport and then transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 5 Xian
The highlight of the tour today lies in the world-shaking Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses where you might be shocked by the rows of life-size warriors in order. After lunch,transfer to visit the ancient Xian City Wall and the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China, Great Mosque, you will have some free time to wander around the well know Muslim street nearby. Day 6 Xian-Guilin
After breakfast in the hotel, you will find our guide waiting for you in the hotel lobby, transfer to visit the elegant and dignified Shaanxi History Museum. Then pass by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda – the sign of ancient Xi'an on the way back to the hotel. Make a stop and choose the best angle to view this "Leaning Tower of China", you will also be amazed by those exquisite architectures and sculptures on the two sides of the square in the front of the pagoda. After enjoying a special A La Carte lunch in a featured local style restaurant, transfer to the airport to take your flight to Guilin. Our guide will pick you up at Guilin airport and then transfer to the hotel. (B+A La Carte Lunch)
Day 7 Guilin
Pick you up at the hotel lobby. It takes about two and half hours' car ride to reach Longsheng county. Here you will have a full day tour to visit the grand Longji Terraced Rice Field and appreciate the architecture and clothes culture of Zhuang & Yao Ethnic Minority. Drive back to Guilin. (B+L)
Superior Class: will skip the tour on Day 7. That is to say, the tour length of Superior Class is 10 days in total.
Day 8 Guilin-Yangshuo
Today our guide will take you to the Zhujiang Pier to begin your Li River cruise. Along the riverside, you can see the limestone peaks, Karst sceneries and other picturesque landscape. 4 hours' cruise will take you to Yangshuo pier finally. At scenic Yangshuo, you could ride bicycle through the quiet and comfortable countryside and enjoy the rural life in China. On the way of biking, you will visit a local family to experience the local life style. At last, transfer back to the hotel. The evening is free for you and you are suggested to pay a visit to the West Street. (B+L)
Note: If you don't like riding bicycle in Yangshuo, electric sightseeing vehicle could also be arranged instead, but the extra charge will be paid on your own.
Day 9 Yangshuo-Guilin-Shanghai
Drive back to Guilin and then visit Reed Flute Cave, the largest and the most impressive natural cave in Guilin and the landmark of Guilin - Elephant Trunk Hill. After an A La Carte lunch, transfer to the airport and take a flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, your local guide will meet you at airport and then transfer to the hotel. Day 10 Shanghai
Today's excursion starts with Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Then take a walk at the Bund and Nanjing Road. After enjoying A La Carte lunch, visit Yuyuan Garden where you will have some free time at the surrounding local bazaars and New Spot(XinTianDi), which is one symbol of Shanghai folk culture.And then take the Huangpu River Cruise to enjoy the impressive scenery. Day 11 Departure from Shanghai
Transfer you to the airport according to your flight schedule, and help you board your homeward flight. Your unforgettable China tour ends here.(B)
