Day 1 Arrive in Beijing
Upon your arrival, our guide will warmly welcome you at the airport and then take you to the hotel. The rest of day will be left for you to adjust to the jet lag.
Day 2 Beijing
Begin to explore Beijing from paying a visit first to the largest and grandest square in the world – Tiananmen Square. As walking through the square, you will come to the magnificent Forbidden City, the biggest palace complex in the world. Then, you will hop on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys for a Hutong Tour, and pay a visit of a local family as well as have the lunch with local neighborhoods. Then go on to appreciate the fantastic Summer Palace, the biggest and best-preserved imperial garden so far. (B+L)
Day 3 Beijing
Today, will be guided to the snaking Mutianyu Great Wall, an uncrowded section with comfortable round trip cable car to take and picturesque scenery to enjoy. As for lunch, it will be offered at an elegant restaurant at the foot of the Great Wall. At night, the dinner is arranged to let you taste mouthwatering and authentic Peking Duck. (B+L+D)
Day 4 Beijing-Xian
The sightseeing today starts from exploring the great Temple of Heaven where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties had worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest, take a chance to have a close view of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Xian. Upon your arrival at Xian, your local guide will meet you at airport and then transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is left on your own. (B)
Day 5 Xian
The highlight of the tour today lies in the world-shaking Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses where you might be shocked by the rows of life-size warriors in order. After a local featured dainty lunch, drive back to the hotel and passing by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda – the sign of ancient Xi'an. Make a stop and choose the best angle to view this "Leaning Tower of China", you will also be amazed by those exquisite architectures and sculptures on the two sides of the square in the front of the pagoda. Day 6 Xian-Guilin
This morning, you'll have the opportunity to explore the ancient Xian City Wall and the Great Mosque. As the symbol of the historical and cultural city of Xian, the magnificent and grandiose City Wall is the oldest and largest intact city defense system in China. You'll surely be impressed by it. The Islamic architecture of Great Mosque is one of the largest and best preserved early mosques of China. After lunch,transfer to the airport to board the flight to Guilin.Be met and taken to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 7 Guilin
This morning, you will visit the Reed Flute Cave, a brilliant cave marked on almost all tour itineraries where you could enjoy various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition, as well as the Elephant Trunk Hill, a landmark of the picturesque Guilin.The afternoon will be left for the famous Seven Star Park. Day 8 Guilin-Yangshuo
Today you will have a cruise along the breathtaking Li River to the picturesque town of Yangshuo. Along the way, you will see the charming nature landscapes of Guilin. After arrive in Yangshuo, you will take the electric sightseeing vehicle to travel around the countryside.Stary overnight in Yangshuo. (B+L)
Day 9 Yangshuo-Guilin-Chongqing
This morning you will go to Chongqing by air. Our guide will meet you at the airport, and then guide you to see the cute pandas at Chongqing Zoo and explore the antique Ciqikou Old Town. After dinner, you will board the deluxe cruise ship and begin your memorable cruise tour. There is a necessary Safety, Orientation & River Briefing presentation for you. (B+L+D)
Day 10 Shibaozhai / Fengdu
Today is the right time to sail along the mighty Yangtze River. On the voyage, the ship will land at Shibaozhai or Fengdu for the shore excursion. Lose yourself in the wonderful Chinese folk dance and music performance by the cruise staff at the exciting Captain's Welcome Party in the evening. (B+L+D)
Day 11 Shengnong Stream / Lesser Three Gorges
Sailing along Yangtze River offers you the charming sights of the spectacular Qutang Gorge and the pretty Wu Gorge. The knowledgeable river guide will let you get more idea of Three Gorges including the ancient plank road, mengliang stairway and hanging coffins. A shore excursion to Shengnong Stream or Lesser Three Gorges. Return to the ship and continue sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge. Tonight Farewell Party invites you to join in the excellent performance by the cruise staffs. (B+L+D)
Day 12 Yichang-Shanghai
After breakfast, you will take a shuttle bus to see the significant project of Three Gorges Dam, which is also the highlight of Yangze River Cruise. After that, the ship will arrive in Yichang. Our guide will meet you on board and transfer you to the airport to take your flight to Shanghai after lunch. Then our Shanghai local guide will pick you up from the airport to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 13 Shanghai
In the morning, pay a visit to the Shanghai Museum where you can appreciate a large number of precious collections. Afterwards, ramble around the Bund, a famous waterfront, which is regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. After lunch, enjoy a tranquil and happy time in the Yuyuan Garden, a 400 year old classical Chinese garden in the Old Town of Shanghai. Then stroll around the Yuyuan Market, a bazaar of stores selling traditional Chinese arts and crafts and souvenirs. Finally, you can walk along the Tianzifang, a new art zone in Shanghai where you can find special architecture of old shanghai city as well as a lot of bars, cafes, craft shops, studio, galleries, and boutiques. Day 14 Depart from Shanghai
Get to the airport and board your homeward flight by yourself. (B)
