Day 1 Arrive in Beijing
You'll be met by our guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and get ready for your exciting China tour.
Day 2 Beijing
Begin to explore Beijing from paying a visit first to the largest and grandest square in the world – Tiananmen Square. As walking through the square, you will come to the magnificent Forbidden City, the biggest palace complex in the world. Then, you will hop on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys for a Hutong Tour, and pay a visit of a local family as well as have the lunch with local neighborhoods. Then go on to appreciate the fantastic Summer Palace, the biggest and best-preserved imperial garden so far. (B+L)
Day 3 Beijing
The sightseeing today starts from the snaking Mutianyu Great Wall, an uncrowded section with comfortable round trip cable car to take and picturesque scenery to enjoy. As for lunch, it will be offered at an elegant restaurant at the foot of the Great Wall. At night, the dinner is arranged to let you taste mouthwatering and authentic Peking Duck. (B+L+D)
Day 4 Beijing-Xian
After breakfast, explore the great Temple of Heaven where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties had worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest. Afterwards, you will be guided to take a chance to have a close view of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube and have lunch on your own. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Xian. Upon your arrival at Xian, your local guide will meet you at airport and then transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is left on your own.(B)
Day 5 Xian
The highlight of the tour today lies in the world-shaking Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses where you might be shocked by the rows of life-size warriors in order. After a local featured dainty lunch, drive back to the hotel and passing by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda – the sign of ancient Xi'an. Make a stop and choose the best angle to view this "Leaning Tower of China", you will also be amazed by those exquisite architectures and sculptures on the two sides of the square in the front of the pagoda. Day 6 Xian-Chongqing
Today is the last day of your tour in Xi'an. First, the guide will lead you to explore the ancient City Wall, which had been constructed over 600 years ago to protect the city from an attack.Then head into the Great Mosque to enjoy the combination of Islamic and Chinese cultures. Then you will be transferred to the airport to take a flight to Chongqing. Upon your arrival, the guide will take you to have dinner. After dinner, embark the luxury cruise ship which will weigh anchor at 22:30. There is a necessary Safety, Orientation & River Briefing presentation for you. (B+D)
Day 7 Shibaozhai / Fengdu
Today is the right time to sail along the mighty Yangtze River. On the voyage, the ship will land at Shibaozhai or Fengdu for the shore excursion. Lose yourself in the wonderful Chinese folk dance and music performance by the cruise staff at the exciting Captain's Welcome Party in the evening. (B+L+D)
Day 8 Shengnong Stream / Lesser Three Gorges
Sailing along Yangtze River offers you the charming sights of the spectacular Qutang Gorge and the pretty Wu Gorge. The knowledgeable river guide will let you get more idea of Three Gorges including the ancient plank road, mengliang stairway and hanging coffins. A shore excursion to Shengnong Stream or Lesser Three Gorges. Return to the ship and continue sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge. Tonight Farewell Party invites you to join in the excellent performance by the cruise staffs. (B+L+D)
Day 9 Yichang-Shanghai
Today you'll view the great Three Gorges Dam, the largest dam construction project on earth. As the ship arrives in Yichang, our guide will meet you on board. After lunch, transfer to the airport and take a flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you'll be picked up and transferred to the hotel. As for dinner, you have a chance to arrange it by yourself. (B+L)
Day 10 Shanghai
Today, you will be guided to visit Shanghai Museum to view the splendid Chinese treasures, and then take a walk around the Bund. After tasting tasty lunch, continue to visit the Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar. Finally, amble along the alleys in Tianzifang, a neighborhood full of stalls, restaurants, cafes and shops of selling artwork. (B+L)
Day 11 Depart from Shanghai
Get to the airport and board your homeward flight by yourself. Your memorable China tour ends. (B)
